The Network
Our ISP Business Partner's (IPA), network has been built from the very beginning to provide our users with the best possible service and quality. To this end, we have built our network around equipment from industry leaders such as Ascend, Cisco, and Sun.
Their network is 100% digital and is 56K capable in most all of our locations. Recent network expansion has resulted in IPA physically installing Points of Presence (POPs) in over 60 locations throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. With these POPs we can provide local dial-up service to over 600 communities in the tri-state region.
Another key feature of IPA's network is its redundancy. With multiple connections to different Internet Backbone Providers (Cable & Wireless, Sprint, Espire, and SWB), IPA can automatically reroute network traffic to another outlet should one outlet become temporarily unavailable. This results in a very stable and reliable system for our users, in which they are protected, from unexpected problems that temporarily take down one outlet to a backbone provider.
More isn't always Better.
IPA's network was built on the on the idea of resource maximization and performance. It is our goal at IPA to build on and grow our network with one ultimate goal: No Bottlenecks.
A.R. Systems International's Network design team implements the latest technology along with experience and expertise to make sure that you, the customer, will only be limited by the speed of your modem and the processing power of your computer. On the Internet backbone level, more bandwidth does not always mean a faster transfer rate. Obtaining Internet bandwidth is a small factor in the Internet business. Every good ISP should have more than they use; the amount is not important.
Resource maximization, redundancy, and availability are the terms we use to describe a well-built network, and those concepts are the foundation of our network. As our network expands, we continue to challenge ourselves to build not only a bigger network, but a more robust network. It is our commitment to keep making the best even better.
