What does "Year 2000 Capable" Mean
All ARSI products are "Year 2000 Capable" when, upon installation, it accurately stores, displays, processes, provides, and/or
receives date data from, into, and between 1999 and 2000, and the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, including leap year calculations, provided that all other technology used in combination with said product
properly exchanges date data with it. ARSI makes no representation about individual components within the product should they be used independently from the product as a whole.

What's the difference between "Year 2000 Capable," "year 2000 compliant", "year 2000 ready," and "year 2000 certified"?
There is no generally accepted standard for how computer hardware and software should handle the transition to year 2000. A.R. Systems International uses its own definition of "Year 2000 Capable" when referring to the capability of the products we offer. The definition that we use is similar to definitions used by several hardware and software manufacturers. When we designed a system(s), we only use components that has been rated 100% as "Year 2000 Capable" by the manufacturer. Therefore we can warranty that all hardware and software used in our system are capable of using and displaying the YEAR 2000 dates correctly.
Please note that checking the "Year 2000 Capable" status of one componet is not enough to ensure that
your PC system as a whole is ready for the transition to year 2000. A PC system includes many hardware and
software components. It is important to ensure that all parts of your system can work together to read and
exchange dates accurately. You should be sure to check your BIOS, operating system (e.g., Windows* 95,
Windows NT*, UNIX), network operating system and software applications to be sure they are capable of recognizing and handling dates
beyond 1999. Because there are many hardware and software components working together in your computer system, there is no single
test you can perform to make sure that your entire system will manage the transition to the year 2000 accurately.
Do not wait;
it's important to assess the year 2000 capability of your system as soon as possible. The time you spend today will give you peace of mind and confidence as you move into the new millennium.
